Cavity Wall Inspections
Our endoscopic surveys are used for cavity wall inspections and checking the structure of any wall ties that have been placed. We do provide full cavity wall tie replacements but it is always important to check the structural integrity of wall ties before committing to a large piece of work.
Endoscopic Survey Process
This is classed as a destructive survey as the surveyor must drill small 10mm holes into the outside of the building; this enables us to pass through an endoscopic camera which can show us the status of what is in between the cavity. We usually require 3 hours for a cavity wall inspection and we always clean up after ourselves, leaving your home in perfect condition. This is the only survey where a fee is payable due to the nature and length of time it takes to undertake.
Other Survey Services
We don’t stop at endoscopic surveys. We also provide basement waterproofing, condensation, damp surveys and timber surveys across Surrey, London and the Home Counties. This means that all aspects of the maintenance and structural integrity of your home can be expertly looked after by Timkon.
