Damp Survey in London, Surrey and the Home Counties

Carrying out a damp proofing survey is essential to ensuring the structural integrity of your property. If you have identified a damp problem in your home it is critical that you instruct a qualified surveyor to inspect the issue, as if it is not treated quickly and correctly, further structural damage will be caused. If you think you need damp proofing services in your home, please do get in touch.

DAMP SURVEY PROCESS

One of our highly experienced and fully qualified damp surveyors will attend your property and, with the use of a Protimeter (a professional moisture measuring instrument for surveyors, contractors and assessors), assess the level of damp in the areas highlighted by you. We will then cross reference any additional information received via the Home Buyers Report, or from yourselves, with the evidence we gathered from our survey to identify possible causes of your damp problem.

In some cases, the damp is caused from exterior sources so an external inspection would be needed to identify any potential defects which may be contributing to your damp issues.

From all the information that has been collected, our surveys end with a full, accurate report as well as detailed estimate and sketch drawing. Upon receipt of payment, the comprehensive report will be sent to you. Our surveyors will also be very happy to talk you through the report and discuss its findings in more detail via telephone if required.
